This production was originally made for visitors of "Jeugdvakantieland" - a special event in The Netherlands for children.

In 2017, the Tower of Babel travelled to Japan, a country fascinated with architecture and culture. Filmmakers of the museum followed the tower to Japan and captured how it was received in Japan.
