Rudi Fuchs, a former director of the Stedelijk Museum, was invited by the museum to curate an exhibition in his unique, distinctive way. He looks back on the collections he built throughout his lengthy career and his contribution to the development of the Dutch state art collection. He will present a large selection of the works he acquired, from the Van Abbemuseum, Gemeentemuseum Den Haag and the Stedelijk Museum.
In this video, Bart Rutten (Head of Collections Stedelijk Museum) and Rudi Fuchs talk about his career and milestones. People who played an important part in his career, such as Nicholas Serota (Director Tate) and Toon Verhoef (Visual Artist), ask Fuchs interesting questions.
