A versatile portrait of De Pont Museum is shown in this documentary. The museum was founded by Jan de Pont (1915-1987), attorney and businessman, whose legacy was meant to set up a foundation for the stimulation of contemporary visual art.

De Pont was established in a former wool-spinning mill in Tilburg and opened in 1992. Ever since it is known as one of the leading institutions of contemporary art. The film makers are giving a broad perspective on the history as well as day-to-day operations of this remarkable museum; the team of staff under management of Hendrik Driessen (appointed director from the beginning), the artists, personnel and visitors.

A story told from various points of view with among them Jos de Pont, (heir of the founder and director of the board) and a variety of international artists like Marc Mulders, Jan Andriesse, Robert Zandvliet, Marlene Dumas, Berlinde De Bruyckere, Fiona Banner, David Claerbout, Calum Innes and Toon Verhoef.

And off course Anish Kapoor, who created especially in honor of the 25th anniversary a sculpture which can be admired in front of De Pont. Sky Mirror (for Hendrik), a sculpture reflecting the sky, was officially revealed on September 16th 2017 in the presence of HRH Princess Beatrix, presented as a gift to the museum and dedicated to its director Hendrik Driessen.
